Questions owners ask

Is it really free?

Yes. Every tool on this page is free, as often as you like. There's no trial that runs out and no credit card. Later we'll offer paid extras, like online booking and text reminders, and you're welcome to ignore them.

Do I need an account?

No. Open a tool and use it. To keep what you made, leave your email and we'll send a link that keeps it for 30 days. When LocoTap accounts open, you can move it into yours.

What happens to my photos?

We use them to make your menu, sign or card, then delete them within 24 hours. We don't sell anything you type or upload, and we won't email you unless you ask us to.

Who is it for?

Independent businesses with a counter, a chair or a kitchen: cafés, restaurants, salons, barbers, groomers, repair shops, studios, clinics, tutors and grocers. If you serve customers in person in Canada, it's for you.

Is this legal advice?

No. The CASL checker, the policy makers and the gift certificate rules explain the law in plain words, give you wording to start from, and show where each rule comes from. For anything unusual, check with a lawyer.

Can I use it in my own language?

Signs and menus come in English and French, and can add Chinese, Punjabi, Korean, Arabic, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Spanish or Portuguese. A translator for signs and notices arrives this winter.

When do the other tools open?

The holiday kit opens in mid-November 2026, and the rest of the first 8 by mid-December. New tools follow every few weeks through the winter.
